Dalton Steed and Walker White were selected to attend the 2022 session of the Mississippi Boys State held at The University of Mississippi.  Both were awarded $1000 scholarships for completing  the week long event and Dalton received an additional $1500 for being elected to the position of Commissioner of Insurance.

Ella Claire Gregory, Madi Lee, and Sadie Stevenson were chosen to attend the 2022  Magnolia Girls State conference on the campus of The University of Southern Mississippi.  For completing the leadership conference, all three ladies received $1000 scholarships with Madi receiving another $1500 scholarship for being elected Commissioner of Insurance. 

Walker White, Sadie Stevenson, Madi lee, and Haley Harris were selected to attend the 2022 Mississippi Secretary of State Ambassador Program held at the state capital in Jackson.  They are pictured with Secretary of State Michael Watson.

Mrs. Bookout's Algebra II class toured the MSU Raspet Flight Department.

Mrs. Pam Sullivan Davis, a retired Senior Staff Systems Engineer, visited with students to discuss products and career opportunities with Lockheed Martin.

WA was well represented at the Mississippi State Capitol building on January 17th with Sadie Stevenson, Walker White, Hailey Harris, and Madi Lee attending for the Secretary of State Ambassador Program.

The 2023 Senior graduating class and the 2023 K5 graduating class walk through campus together in their caps and gowns.

Dr. McMillin's Dual Enrollment Biology and Mr. Ryals' Chemistry classes toured East Central Community College's science department on March 23, 2023.  Students enjoyed excellent presentations by the professors.

Chloe  Hillyer was selected as a East Mississippi Cooperative Youth Leader.
