Reed Yates, Judson Joiner, and Hodgson Bookout were selected to attend the 2024 session of the Mississippi Boys State held at The University of Mississippi.

Junior Jonah Hood was chosen to represent WA as an Ambassador for Mississippi HOBY held on the campus of Mississippi College.

Reed Yates, Ashlyn Oswalt, Judson Joiner, Brooklyn Woods, and Julia Gregory attended the Secretary of State's Ambassador Fall Summit.

Senior Reed Yates was selected as the Rotary Club of Louisville's student of the month for September.

K3 through 1st grade visited The Farm in Starkville MS for their fall field trip.

Braley Dickerson and Ava Chancellor were selected to the MAIS Volleyball All Star team.

Jillian Sims was selected to be on the 2024 MAIS Futures Volleyball team.

The 2nd and 3rd grade classes enjoyed a field trip to Bull Bottom Farms in Duck Hill, MS.

The 4th, 5th, and 6th grade classes visited the Mississippi Natural Science Museum in Jackson, MS.

Congratulations to the Spelling Bee winners.  Special congratulations to those who will be competing at the district spelling be:  4th grade - Layla Holley; 5th grade - Harper Wilson; 6th grade - Lily Watkins.

The Student Body Association partnered with Pinelake Church of Starkville to collect new, unopened toys for hurricane victims of North Carolina.

The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade classes enjoyed a hands-on day at FARMtastic.

The K3, K4, and 1st grade classes enjoyed a great day with their field trip visit to the Mississippi Children's Museum in Jackson.
